Gossett’s Outstanding Attitude Towards Learning

Now, here’s a scholarship opportunity for all LHS seniors:

• It’s not about GPA.
• It’s not about income.
• It's not about athletics.
• It’s not about outstanding achievement in extracurriculars.
• It's not about perfect attendance records.
• It’s not even about field of study or ethnic heritage.

The G.O.A.L. Award is all about students who show personal growth during their LHS years.

The selection committee will select the two best essays that demonstrate the students’ commitment and improvement in their secondary education. Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded, one for a male and one for a female.

Application deadline is Tuesday, April 5, 2011.
